HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!!

My grand-daughter Annabelle Rose is turning two this week. I see I have the date of birth wrong on my web site so will have to correct that. Things happen when you rely on the ol brain to remember everything and you don't write things down.

Since I live in CT, Annie lives in North Dakota, I have yet to have seen her in person or held her. That's the downside of living so far away from your own kids.Some day I will though and soon. Hopefully before I have an invitation to her wedding. Her parents do a wonderful job of supply me with pictures via the internet.

I've seen pictures of her and she looks just like her Dad, right down to the dimples, except she has brown eyes (courtesy of her mother) instead of blue. But you could hold a picture of her Dad at her age and you would see the likeness.

Oh by the way, the presents are in the mail. I, many times are very tardy in the sending of presents and cards. Again one of the downsides of living so far from each other. But usually they get there. I'm always forgetting that our glorious postal system is not that speedy, plus I don't take in the 2000 miles difference in locations.
