THIS N' THAT

I survived St. Patricks' Day with nary a scratch mainly because I didn't go anywhere. I let the Irish celebrate as they may. yes I had the obligatory Corned Beef & Cabbage with potatos and carrots prepared by my lovely wife, Divadeb. It was a very delicious meal and as she puts it, the meat came out just right. Guess corned beef can be a little nasty. Needless to say the cabbage did it's job so the corned beef had nothing to worry about.

This is a short week, work wise as I get Good Friday off for the Easter Holiday. When I lived and taught in North Dakota, teachers and students would also get Easter Monday off if there were no days lost to winter storms. Not so here, back to work Monday. I'm not complaining mind you just stating facts and comparisons. I know that in the business world there is no such thing as days off.

I have been afflicted again with stuffy sinuses and congestion so now I'm on a regiment of Flonase and Muscatel I mean Musix or something like that. It's an expectorant so it's supposed to loosen up the flem and stuff. I took a Claritin and Sudaphed today to maybe clear up the congestion but I flet like a Zombie all day. Now tonight I probably won't sleep.

One of our pregnant teachers was in labor today, I suspect that she has already given birth by now. She didn't want to have the baby today as her Mother in law who evidently is a "Know it all" said she would have the baby on the 21st. Well today is the 21st and the last I heard the baby was a sneeze away from being born. Better luck next time Kris and maybe keep the due date a secret for you know who.
