ANOTHER MONDAY

Another Monday and that's okay cause I'm on vacation. In fact if it wasn't for Sundays I probably wouldn't pay to much attention on what day it is. Which is really nice when you think of it. No time restraints with this has to be done now or I've got to go there now. Those kinds of things. That is what a vacation is all about. Do things when you want and as long as it's gets done during the vacation you've succeeded in your goals.

I see no reason in having two weeks off and you spend it "on the road" either driving or flying to your destination and then running around going here or going there and spending tons of money so when you do come home you are broke and so tired you are glad to get back to work so you can rest.

Oh I'm not against the going someplace on vacation, just leave some time for yourself where you can forget what day it is for at least a few days. I feel that is healthier for your mind, body & spirit than anything else you may do during your vacation.

DO YOU REMEMBER?

Yeah, I know, it's hot everywhere. Like the weather man is giving us a hint of what Hell is like on a cold day. All I can say is "Buck Up Wuzzy" it's summer, it's July, it's supposed to be hot.
Think back a few month when it was freezing cold and you had to shovel your driveway so you could get your car out of garage so you could get to work and you had to dress in layers so you would stay warm enough just in case your car stalled in the middle of nowhere or even on I84 in CT. Do you remember? The heat bill was sky high and at least with a/c you are only using electricity and not fuel oil. Do you remember. You don't shovel sunshine. Appreciate for what it is.......summer!!

HOT, HOT HOT!!!

OK, So it's hot. Big Deal! What do you expect, this is summer folks. Summer means "yeah, there are gonna be some hot days". So get over it, remember last winter when you were freezing your cahonnies off.
I have always said about the heat is that I don't have to shovel it. Now on the other hand humidity is NOT my friend. Nope, no way, no how. Put those two puppies together and you are looking at one immovable blob.....me.
So I'll take the heat but please leave the humidity home. Oh yeah, a little breeze helps.
