A FRESH OF BREATH AIR

I purchased a CD today not knowing anything about the performing artist and boy was I surprised. This group completely blew me away. The music was driving yet gentle, had a message and moved me. This group combines the genres of classical and rock and opera into an event. I have been so moved by this group that I have bought just about everything they have recorded.

The group has a funny sounding name and I think very misleading. In fact they have performed in concert around my area many many times. Guess what? Next time they are in the area I will definitly purchase tickets. The group is called Trans-Siberian Orchestra led by Paul O'Neill who was and is the inspiration of this group.

Check out their web-site at www.trans-siberian.com, you'll be impressed.

COLDER THAN A TITCHES WIT

Ahem, I think you know what I mean. Yes it is cold here in the Northeast, though the cold brisk air is kind of refreshing and it is a bit easier on my allergies. And yes, we got snow, early for Connecticut but being a boy born and raised in North Dakota, I savor at the site of the first snow. Mind you, I said the first snow, after that spring can come again as far as I'm concerned.

The only other time I like to see it snow is on Christmas Eve. I remember times when I was a youngster getting out of Christmas Eve service with the snow lightly falling in big "stick your tongue out and try to catch them" snowflakes. Ah the memories, but like I said earlier, spring can come the next day.

You don't have to shovel sunshine.

Leavzzard

Yep, you heard it right. I was in a Leavzzard. Now being a boy being raised and growing up in North Dakota I figured I have seen pretty much every kind of weather. Not so......and then moving to Connecticut where I presently live would not have believed this either, but I saw it and experienced it.

Think of a blizzard only instead of snow you got leaves so you have a leavzzard (should I name it?). Due to the fact we had tremendous winds in CT on Friday and was blowing so hard all the leaves were blown off the trees and into the air. It was amazing, leaves flying everywhere, almost to the point of poor visibility (yes I was driving).

And they all landed in my backyard!!

Wha Happened?????

It's been ages since I posted and I apoligize for the lapse in postings but I'm sure you'll get over it.
Let's see............since my last cold (zephyr) I achieved a second cold, this one was aptly called Yosemite though not as brutal as Zephyr though what I thought the cold was hanging on longer than usual was actually allergies. No, I'm not going to name my allergies!!
The biggest news I guess is that I broke my wrist & elbow and achieved a big bump on the noggin'. This I managed to do while returning some movies to a local Blockbuster and a dead bush leaped out and grabbed my foot as I was walking by causing me to fall on the concrete below causing the aformentioned injuries. I am well on the way to being all healed. My cast comes off on November 30th and the bump has yet to disappear.
For pictures of my injury and also other family members I may refer to often please check my web page at: http://homepage.mac.com/seltaebs/Personal1.htm
