The Lion of March
Both of my sons are big on blogging and I'm the weak link in this endeavor though everytime I get the urge to blog I wonder what would I blog about. So I sit down and think about what I could write and pretty soon I lose interest and then nothing is blogged. I sound like a broken record but I try to do my best.
We just came off of our latest Nor'Easter here on the east coast. This one was called ELI and the only way I remember this name is because of a Three Dog Night song called "Eli's Coming".
Anyhow, we got about 8" inches of snow which if I still lived in North Dakota would give everyone a chuckle. Eight inches in North Dakota is like a dusting. Here eight inches of snow is orgasmic for the weather people. They have reporters in all corners of the state reporting the snowfall amounts throughout the state. No kidding. Guess someone has to do it.
So I had the day off after a nice extended vacation the weeks before. One day of work, one day off. I think people in the business world would love that.
Hopefully this is the last hurrah for winter and spring is here in 19 days and it will get warmer and sunnier and the snow comes as rain. Yes I know, ever hear of a Spring snow storm? It happens, but I'm not going there.
As the old saying goes: March came it like a Lion so it should go out like a Lamb. Let's just hope it holds true this year
