THINGS DO CHANGE
It has been sometime since I last posted so you must be thinking that something has changed and you are right. Your second thought is probably it's about the weather cause that's what he writes about a lot. Right again.
I've said before and I'll say again that weather is something that will always give me something to write about and is something that always changes.
The last time I wrote it was about the wonderful weather we were having in the NorthEast. Well that's all changed of course. We are back to the high humidity and higher than normal temps. Miserable weather for sure. I know I know, I could be living in New Orleans. My prayers go out to those people that have been displaced or lost loved ones.
We are getting a taste of our own little hurricane weather, Ophelia, though she is nothing compared to Katrina we are getting some much needed moisture. I think I mowed my lawn once in August and if all goes as planned I'll mow it once in September.
I am now starting to think about winterizing though we aren't even into Fall till next week. Hey, I'm even thinking about putting up the Christmas lights but I'll wait a few weeks seeing that I just took them down on July 4th.
Around this time, actually October 23rd of last year I took a fall and broke my arm. Well this year it was my lovely wife's turn and turn she did. She took a misstep and down she went and also broke her arm. Though not as serious as mine nevertheless it is a broken arm and adds discomfort and disability to her everyday movements. Though she said she is getting quite adept at using the mouse with her left hand. Nice that she has a wireless mouse. Also her typing is coming along nicely also. She is able to keep up contacts with her e-mail friends. I hope you heal quickly sweetheart.
So now that school is well underway I am able to catch a short breath and maybe I'll be able to fit in a little more blogging time.
