What Can I Say?

What can I say? The weather here in the Northeast has been great!! Low humidity and comfortable temps. Nothing to complain about weatherwise. Temps are in the high 70's to low 80's. This past weekend was the best. Now if it will only stay that way.

Driving to work this morning there was this person driving a Rav4 Toyota who really needed to get in front of me. So much that he almost ran head on into a car while passing me. Lucky for me and them I saw what could have happened and pulled over to let three cars go where two should have been.

This guy then would drive as fast as he could from stop sign to stop sign always getting to the intersections many seconds if not minutes before I arrived there. You see, no matter how fast he drove I was always catching up with him at each intersection. I wonder what the rush was?

Reminds me of the Tortoise and The Hare Aesop Fable. Seems I was always winning the race. I don't know about gas mileage but I'm trusting my car did a bit better. Slow and steady always wins the race. And at the price of gas nowadays I think slower more constant speeds make more sense to me.

But hey, what can I say?
